A beautifully crafted Australian indie record that deserves a wider audience.
Central Coast duo Winterbourne spent several years developing Act of Disappearing, recording much of the album themselves while building a rich, layered sound around their distinctive harmonies and thoughtful songwriting.
Released in 2023, the album moves comfortably between intimate acoustic moments and bigger, more expansive arrangements. Tracks like "Dandelions" and "Long Distance Runner" show just how far the pair have come from their folk beginnings.
